A Chiara
In this mix of coming-of-age and mafia film, 15-year-old Chiara seems to live a typical teenage life in southern Italy. She hangs out with friends, teases her older sister and gets absorbed in her smartphone. But then her father’s car explodes and his double life comes to light. In the impoverished southern Italian region of Calabria, you have Family and Familia. The first hangs together by love and blood, the other hangs together by honour and bloody greed.
