Alma Viva
Like every summer, little Salomé’s family returns to their family in the Portuguese mountains. The carefree atmosphere comes to an abrupt end when the grandmother dies unexpectedly. While the adults speculate and argue about the funeral, Salomé is haunted by the ghost of her deceased grandmother. Moreover, the village whispers that the mysterious woman was a witch. This enchanting film debut was the Portuguese Oscar entry.
