Pazu, a young apprentice engineer, finds the girl Sheeta floating in the air with a shiny crystal around her neck. They discover that they are both searching for the legendary floating Laputa castle and are determined to unravel the mystery of the luminous crystal. On their quest, they collide with air pirates, secret agents and amazing obstacles that will separate them from the truth – and each other.
