Amaia has just become a mother and realises that she does not really know how to be a mother. When her partner is away for work for a few weeks, it becomes too much for her. Combining motherhood and her freelance job as a translator is just not working out. She decides to return to her parents’ home, in a coastal town in the Basque Country, to share the responsibility of caring for her baby. But life has other plans, her mother falls ill and it is Amaia who will have to take care of everyone. A sensitive study on the caring, cross-generational role of women.
