The new film by South Korean filmmaker Park Chan-wook (Oldboy, The Handmaiden) was the absolute favourite of many festival-goers at this year’s Cannes Film Festival. This romantic crime drama tells the story of a diligent detective (Park Hye-Il) who investigates a murder. However, he develops feelings for the widow of the murdered man, the main suspect in the case.

Best Director Award at the Cannes Film Festival.
