Alfonso, a Spanish farmer, and his wife Yanniek are trying to save their farm from desertification in the drought-stricken region of La Junquera. They are switching to sustainable farming methods, fighting against illegal water extraction and the vagaries of the climate. Their herd of rare cattle is growing, but the question remains as to whether they can actually turn the tide.
