Gaucho Gaucho is a poetic documentary that follows the lives of traditional gauchos, the Argentine cowboys and cowgirls who have lived and worked in the vast plains of the Calchaquí Valley for centuries. Their days consist of horse riding, herding cattle, organising rodeos and gathering around the campfire. At the heart of these stories is Guada, a teenage girl trying to find her place in this male-dominated culture.

The film combines beautiful black-and-white cinematography with observations of the landscape and its people. A modest, intimate portrait of a community life that is slowly disappearing, captured with love and aesthetic precision.
