Director Cesc Gay presents five stories featuring very ordinary and recognisable characters from our daily lives. About situations we all end up in from time to time, about unexpected encounters, farcical moments or absurd decisions, about painful and often extremely awkward setbacks in life that may be more recognisable than you’d like. Sometimes you go through something you wish no one knew about, or even better: that you could forget about it at all. The five comic stories in ‘Historias para no contar’ are an ode to those kinds of moments, stories that take a sardonic and compassionate look at the inability to control our own emotions and where, against your better judgment, you still went ahead with something when you should have stopped.
