Sophie is eighteen and works her ass off in her father’s hat store. On an outing to the city, Sophie runs into the mysterious wizard Howl. Howl is terribly handsome but when the jealous Witch of Wasting sees them together, she decides to curse Sophie. Sophie becomes 72 years older overnight and flees. She ends up at Howl’s Walking Castle. They could use a housekeeper there, so Howl hires Sophie. Soon old Sophie is setting the castle alight. But how will Sophie ever get her curse undone?
