After her parents’ divorce, Carmela and her mother move into her grandmother’s house. While trying to adjust to her new home, Carmela longs to spend more time with her father, a visual artist whom she admires and adores, but who is accused of violence against her mother. Carmela struggles not only with her new family situation, but also with feelings of not being heard or loved.
This impressive and emotionally charged second feature film by Júlia De Paz avoids melodrama and takes a sharp and sensitive look at the aftermath of domestic violence.
