Lola is a very inventive low-budget production in which two sisters invent a teletime machine that allows them not only to dance to David Bowie as early as the late 1930s, but also to warn the British of the Nazi bombings. Only this is not without consequences. Lola is cleverly packaged as a found footage film, shot on old 16 & 35mm vintage cameras, but it also contains real humour, heart and a phenomenal swing cover of The Kinks. Onmisbaar voor fans van Guy Maddin!
