Taeko and her husband Jiro lead a quiet life, with a baby son from her previous marriage, Keita. Although Jiro’s parents live nearby, the bond is not cordial. A tragic accident completely shakes the family and even Keita’s biological father Park returns to their lives. To deal with the pain and guilt, Taeko plunges into helping this deaf and homeless man. A destructive love triangle ensues that triggers more feelings in Taeko than she could have ever imagined.
