76-year-old Vicente leads a carefree life as an openly gay man in the tourist resort of Maspalomas on Gran Canaria. Everything changes when he suffers a stroke and is forced to return to San Sebastián. In the conservative nursing home where he ends up, Vicente finds himself forced to give up everything he has fought so hard for.
Directors Aitor Arregi and José Mari Goenaga have created a tender and emotional portrait with Maspalomas. Older gay men rarely receive attention on the silver screen. The result is refreshing and thought-provoking.
