Bong Joon-ho, who scored high with his Oscar-winning psychological satire Parasite, has taken Robert Pattinson under his wing for the lead role in his English-language debut. Pattinson portrays an “expendable” – a disposable crew member on a space mission, selected for life-threatening tasks because he can be renewed after death, with his memories largely intact. But then at one regeneration it goes completely wrong….
