Mr. K is a magician on tour. On the eve of his next performance, he spends the night in a huge hotel, but in the morning he cannot find the exit. What follows is an existential and Kafkaesque nightmare, in which he tries to escape from an endless labyrinth of corridors, rooms and doors. Along the way, he gets to know the building’s bizarre inhabitants. Those worry very little. Some even seem to have lived there forever. Merrily, they drag him into the absurdity of their existence. Tallulah Hazekamp Schwab brings with Mr. K her second feature film. Crispin Glover shines idiosyncratically in the lead role, but Belgian talents such as Barbara Sarafian, Sam Lowyck and Yassine Ouaich also portray mysterious characters.
