The Christophers
Julian Sklar (Ian McKellen) was once an icon of the London art world. Now he lives a reclusive life, surrounded by unfinished canvases. His estranged children want to secure their inheritance and send the young painter and part-time forger Lori (Michaela Coel) to him. She must pose as his assistant and gain access to a legendary series of paintings, The Christophers, which Julian keeps hidden deep in his studio. The plan is for her to finish them after his death, so that they can be sold for a fortune. But what begins as pure deception soon becomes much more complicated.
