The New Year That Never Came
With appropriate humour, Mureşanu sketches the last days of dictator Ceaușescu through a mosaic of stories. A really nervous father tries desperately to retrieve his son’s compromising letter to Father Christmas from the mailbox, while a television director has to hastily put together a pro-Ceaușescu broadcast.
