Government employee Iman just got a big promotion as an investigating judge, much to the delight of his wife. At the same time, student protests against the government flare up, arousing the sympathy of his two wayward daughters, Rezvan and Sana. The growing divide between the progressive daughters and their traditional parents leads to a series of disturbing events that jeopardise Iman’s future.

The film won several international awards, including the Special Jury Prize at the Cannes Film Festival.
