Request <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">your free card<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.vaph.be\/european-disability-card\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">here<\/span><\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">As a person with a disability, you can take part in the activities at a reduced rate. If you need a carer, they can accompany you free of charge. This applies to all performances organised by the BUDA arts centre. <\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Blind and visually impaired<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Assistance dogs are allowed.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Many Dutch-language films and some foreign-language films come with audio descriptors via the Earcatch app.<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">You can find the offer and information about the app <a href=\"https:\/\/earcatch.nl\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">here<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Hearing impaired<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>As a visitor, you can use audio support via your hearing aids and smartphone via Sennheiser&#8217;s &#8216;MobileConnect&#8217; app in theaters 1, 3, 4 and 5. Download the app for your phone from the <a href=\"https:\/\/apps.apple.com\/be\/app\/sennheiser-mobileconnect\/id848127271?l=nl\">App Store<\/a> (Apple devices) or <a href=\"https:\/\/play.google.com\/store\/search?q=mobile+connect+sennheiser&amp;c=apps&amp;hl=en_US\">Play Store<\/a> (Android devices). More info on connecting can be found on the info boards in the theaters.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">All info on subtitles can be found on the film and show pages.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><strong>Sensory-friendly film offer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The sensory-friendly screenings provide a relaxing movie experience for anyone who needs it.<\/p>\n<p>In concrete terms, a sensory-friendly day looks like this:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>The audience receives visual preparation in advance to familiarize them with Budascoop.<\/li>\n<li>The digital screens are turned off. Only essential information is visible.<\/li>\n<li>There is no music playing in our entrance hall, which is a quiet place where coloring books, comics, etc. are available.<\/li>\n<li>A receptionist welcomes the audience and answers any questions (before, during, and after the film).<\/li>\n<li>The schedule has been adjusted so that different activities do not overlap.<\/li>\n<li>Only one-third of the hall&#8217;s capacity is being sold.<\/li>\n<li>During the film, a dim light remains on so that people can easily enter and exit the theater.<\/li>\n<li>A countdown clock plays before the film, so visitors know exactly when the film will start.<\/li>\n<li>The sound during the film is quieter.<\/li>\n<li>Sound-absorbing headphones, sensory materials, weighted pillows, and wobble cushions are provided.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The films themselves are not stimulus-friendly.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Visual preparation<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Would you like to prepare for your visit to a film, stage performance, or cineMAATjes? To make this (first) cinema experience as enjoyable as possible, we provide the following facilities for all films for children aged 0 to 3.<\/p>\n<h3>What can you expect?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>There is a nappy-changing table in the gender-neutral toilets.<\/li>\n<li>There is a microwave in the bar where you can warm up a bottle.<\/li>\n<li>Would you like to breastfeed? Please feel free to do so at our venue. We do not have a separate breastfeeding room for this purpose.<\/li>\n<li>Prams are not allowed in the auditorium, but there is space in the corridor. During multi-day festivals (Spinrag, Winterwonderland), we set up a separate area as a pram park.<\/li>\n<li>The lights remain on at 25% brightness during the film screening. The sound level is adjusted to suit little ones\u2019 ears.<\/li>\n<li>You don\u2019t have to be quiet during the film.<\/li>\n<li>You\u2019re always welcome to pop in and out of the cinema hall. The cin\u00e9Mammoet remains in the rotunda throughout.<\/li>\n<li>Babies up to 1.5 years old can attend for free. Children aged 1.5 years and over, and their (grand)parents or carers, must have a cinema ticket.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What to expect during your visit?<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Play, explore and get creative around the cin\u00e9Mammoet!<\/li>\n<li>Afterwards, watch the chosen film together.<\/li>\n<li>After your visit to the toddler cinema, you\u2019re welcome to return to the rotunda.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>UiTPAS kansentarief<\/strong><\/h2>\n<h3><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-36062 size-thumbnail\" role=\"img\" src=\"https:\/\/www.buda.be\/site\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/02\/UiTPAS_transparant.svg\" alt=\"\" width=\"150\" height=\"150\" \/><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Residents of Anzegem, Avelgem, Deerlijk, Harelbeke, Kortrijk, Kuurne, Menen, Waregem, Wervik, Wevelgem or Zwevegem who are eligible for the UiTPAS reduced-rate scheme can attend performances and films organised by the BUDA arts centre for 20% of the ticket price.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>The UiTPAS discount rate can also be used by organisations that organise outings for people living in poverty. A group pass allows groups to participate at a reduced rate, but does not allow points to be saved or exchanged. That is why Kortrijk\u2019s cultural partners \u2013 the BUDA arts centre, NEXT festival, Wilde Westen, Antigone and DURF on the one hand, and Groep Intro on the other \u2013 are joining forces. Club Cultuur shows these young people the way to various forms of culture, such as film, music and theatre. That means there is no strict division. That means there is no strict division. For example, you will find a garbage can and menstrual products in every toilet.
