The premise of the performance is that the hiker (Gerben Vaillant) appears ‘all geared up’ and that the entire world of the performance (light, sound, set) unfolds from this wrapped-up figure.
\nSomething that is halfway between a picnic and a pilgrimage. Clumsiness and ecstasy alternate. The hiker’s walking patterns evoke spaces, and this walking also seems to generate states and thoughts. HIKER wants to touch on what people seek in the mountains and what they flee from there.<\/p>\n
The residency at BUDA is the first working period!
