Jonathan Burrows, Mette Ingvartsen en Tino Sehgaln, maar maakt &ndash; geregeld in coproductie met BUDA &ndash; ook eigen creaties. Voor <em>The Host<\/em> ontving hij op het theaterfestival Impulse in D&uuml;sseldorf de Goethe Institute Award.<\/p>\n<p>Op Buda Vista #7 presenteert Andors <em>The Middle Ages<\/em>, een performance waarin hij de tijd volledig krom trekt.<\/p>\n<p>Weelderige kostuums, historische dansreferenties en vragen over tijd als dimensie resulteren in een gelaagde dansvoorstelling waarin vijf dansers niet vragen w&agrave;t ze zijn, maar wann\u00e9\u00e9r ze zijn. Een reis door de geschiedenis van beweging die steeds gelaagder en abstracter wordt. Wanneer is nu? En gaan we niet te snel?<\/p>\n<p><em>The Middle Ages <\/em>cre&euml;ert een (on)mogelijke dans waarin Andros stijlen van de middeleeuwen tot nu verenigt in \u00e9\u00e9n choreografe.<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<\/p>\n<h3>ENGLISH<\/h3>\n<\/p>\n<p>Andros Zins-Browne began practicing ballet at the Joffrey Ballet School New-York, studies dance at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels and pursued a research programme at the Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht.<\/p>\n<p>He dances for a.o. Jonathan Burrows, Mette Ingvartsen and Tino Sehgal, but also creates &ndash; often in coproduction with BUDA &ndash; his own performances. At the Impulse Theater Festival, D&uuml;sseldorf, he received the Goethe Institute Award for <em>The Host<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>At Buda Vista #7, Andros presents <em>The Middle Ages<\/em>, a performance in which time never stands still<\/p>\n<p>Sumptuous costumes, historical dance references, and questions on time as a dimension result in a layered dance performance in which five dancers are not asking what they are, but when they are. A journey through the history of movement , getting more and more layered and abstract.
