{"id":22246,"date":"2023-10-10T11:46:08","date_gmt":"2023-10-10T09:46:08","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.buda.be\/voorstelling\/branle\/"},"modified":"2023-10-16T15:36:19","modified_gmt":"2023-10-16T13:36:19","slug":"branle","status":"publish","type":"voorstelling","link":"https:\/\/www.buda.be\/en\/voorstelling\/branle\/","title":{"rendered":"Branle"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The starting-point of this creation is the bourree with two counts, a traditional group dance from the French Massif Central. <em>Branle<\/em> takes on the form of a ball \u2013 a space in which dance and music come together but that also evokes specific feelings and makes for circulation.<\/p>\n<p>Choreographer Madeleine Fournier is fascinated by the endless repetition in the music and choreography of the bourree. It evokes both a feeling of standstill and transformation, as if the present continuously renews itself in an effort to approach eternity.
