These are the basic ingredients for the meditative <em>Paper Lane<\/em>. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>For this wordless performance, Olga de Soto drew inspiration from Hartmut Rosa&#8217;s theory on the need to slow down and a gesture used by Sophie Whettnall on some of her works with paper. The result: the uninterrupted, very precise tearing of a long strip of paper. The slowness and precision immerse you completely in the current moment. This act of rebellion against an ever-faster evolving society makes you stop and think about the simplicity of movements and natural materials.
