Come and have a drink and be enchanted by two performances.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em>LOUNGE<\/em> \/ Marga Alfeir\u00e3o<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Marga Alfeir\u00e3o weaves together dance and music from the African diaspora, lap dance and female eroticism in a choreography of minute, and at times barely visible, movements. A duet, but not just between the two dancers: in <em>LOUNGE<\/em>, movement and stillness, giving and taking, public and private, come so close together that the distinction between them completely fades away. Conspiratorial, sensual and hypnotic.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Art for Celebration \/ Lydia McGlinchey<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Especially for the 20th anniversary of the BUDA arts centre, Lydia McGlinchey has created a celebration that moves between clubbing, performance and installation. An impressive sculpture made of flax spins like a luminous chandelier in the rotunda of budascoop. Two performers \u2013 clad from head to toe in raw flax \u2013 open the party. Like extravagant go-go dancers, they whip the crowd into a frenzy whilst the DJ spins records. OK Radio keeps playing until the early hours.
