This time, she turns her attention to the other end of the speed spectrum: the slow. A dance that is radically intimate and slow in an era dominated by speed and isolation. She transforms it into a slow rave version: collective and rebellious.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Over the past twelve years, Lisa Vereertbrugghen has explored the political and physical dimensions of (hardcore) techno music and dance. With <em>Again Forever<\/em>, she is now extending her research to a social dance at the other end of the speed spectrum: the slow.<\/p>\n<p><em>Again Forever<\/em> approaches the slow as a potentially subversive dance, a slow sister to rave dance. The performance focuses on the radical way in which the slow engages with intimacy and time in an era dominated by productivity, speed and isolation.<\/p>\n<p>Vereertbrugghen takes the slow dance out of its traditional context and connects it to today\u2019s queer nightlife.
