Andros Zins-Browne volgde ballet op de befaamde New-Yorkse Joffrey Ballet School, dans aan P.A.R.T.S. in Brussel en een onderzoeksprogramma aan de Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht.

Hij danste voor o.a. Jonathan Burrows, Mette Ingvartsen en Tino Sehgaln, maar maakt – geregeld in coproductie met BUDA – ook eigen creaties. Voor The Host ontving hij op het theaterfestival Impulse in Düsseldorf de Goethe Institute Award.

Op Buda Vista #7 presenteert Andors The Middle Ages, een performance waarin hij de tijd volledig krom trekt.

Weelderige kostuums, historische dansreferenties en vragen over tijd als dimensie resulteren in een gelaagde dansvoorstelling waarin vijf dansers niet vragen wàt ze zijn, maar wannéér ze zijn. Een reis door de geschiedenis van beweging die steeds gelaagder en abstracter wordt. Wanneer is nu? En gaan we niet te snel?

Andros Zins-Browne began practicing ballet at the Joffrey Ballet School New-York, studies dance at P.A.R.T.S. in Brussels and pursued a research programme at the Jan van Eyck Academie, Maastricht.

He dances for a.o. Jonathan Burrows, Mette Ingvartsen and Tino Sehgal, but also creates – often in coproduction with BUDA – his own performances. At the Impulse Theater Festival, Düsseldorf, he received the Goethe Institute Award for The Host.
