The residency at BUDA will mark the first step toward the creation of Coming Into Being, a performative exhibition situated at the intersection of listening and the body. Together with a group of performers — including Adaline Anobile, Pauline Brun, and Francesca Saraullo — they will develop choreographed movements and sound actions, exploring listening as both an embodied practice and a form of agency.

The project focuses on using the body and movement as tools to modulate the propagation of sound in space and to physically intervene in the acoustic field.

Davide Tidoni (IT)

Davide Tidoni is an interdisciplinary artist working from the boundaries of spatial, material, and relational dimensions of sound. His work addresses questions regarding interactions with acoustic space, impermanence, and interdependence. His practice also includes interests in protest songs, social contexts of struggle, and the use of sound in football supporters culture.
