What stories do we tell each other? On Friday 25 September, a (campfire) will be burning at Budascoop, around which people will talk, dream and reflect on the state of the world. Various voices will weigh up the world and share visions of the future, fears, concerns and fantasies during a panel discussion and a performance.

Czech author Marek Šindelka will discuss his new book Systemen van Tederheid (Systems of Tenderness), which explores the relationship between language and technology. Dalilla Hermans will join the discussion; she mentored the two typesetters, Helena Maes and Silke Van Rompaey, who shared their ideas and fears about the future with Marek Šindelka via letters this spring. Finally, theatre maker Bosse Provoost will talk about the creative process behind the performance campfire.
