Thirteen-year-old Prue leaves her home in Portland, Oregon, when her newborn brother is snatched away by a flock of crows. Together with her nerdy classmate Curtis, she sets out to find him, and the two of them end up in a secret world full of warring creatures, peaceful mystics and powerful figures with the darkest of intentions. What begins as a rescue mission turns into something much bigger as the two friends become entangled in a battle for the freedom of this wilderness, known to the locals as Wildwood.
