The Only Living Pickpocket in New York
Harry Lehman (John Turturro, *Barton Fink*) is New York’s last pickpocket. His sleight of hand and unerring knowledge of the streets once made him a master of his craft, but in a world of bank cards, smartphones and digital payments, there is less and less to be gained for an old-school pickpocket. Until one night, when he steals a mysterious USB stick and sells it for a fortune. However, the stick turns out to belong to a ruthless crime family who want it back at any cost. Harry has just a few hours to find it. What follows is not only a thrilling journey through the five boroughs of New York, but also a melancholic ode to a city and a way of life that is slowly disappearing.
John Turturro shines as a man of the old school trying to find his place in a world that has left him behind. Director Noah Segan crafts an atmospheric New York crime tale, featuring not only Turturro but also Steve Buscemi (Fargo) and Giancarlo Esposito (Breaking Bad).
