28 Years Later: The Bone Temple
Building on the world created by Danny Boyle and Alex Garland in 28 Years Later, Nia DaCosta directs 28 Years Later: The Bone Temple. The young survivor Spike (played by Alfie Williams) finds himself unwillingly drawn into a violent, extremist cult led by the malevolent and terrifying ‘Sir Lord’ Jimmy Crystal (Jack O’Connell). This storyline shows that in a collapsed world, the greatest danger often comes not from the zombies, but from humanity itself. Meanwhile, Dr Ian Kelson (Ralph Fiennes) makes a revolutionary discovery. He manages to establish an unexpected connection with Samson, a so-called Alpha Infected (an infected individual who appears to be more intelligent or dominant than the rest). This discovery could change the dynamics of the Apocalypse forever, but it also carries enormous risks.
