Géraldine Haas (FR)
An awkward friend
Géraldine Haas will reanimate the project An awkward friend by exploring feelings and meanings of void, missing and absence, through ghostly presences and etheral absurd characters, following the traces of loss.
Géraldine Haas (FR)
Géraldine Haas is a Brussels-based performer and choreographer. She graduated with a Master’s degree from PARTS in 2024, after studying at ISAC (Royal Academy of Fine Arts) and philosophy in Strasbourg.
Her work explores contrasts and coexistence, guided by the idea that everything exists “in relation.” She creates through and with scores, complexities of emotions, and intuitive dances.
Mixing references from pop culture, somatics, and dance history, she experiments with temporality as a “slow learner.” Emotions and memories are recycled through echoes, replays, and resonances to decompose their volumes.
