Together with Laura Vroom, Helena Elshout is rehearsing the performance ERF at BUDA. They are working on play and text and doing first experiments with scenography, light and sound in collaboration with Steven Brys and Ruben Nachtergaele.

Helena Elshout is a theatre maker and cultural worker, operating at the intersection of theatre, literature and politics. Her theatrical language combines the documentary with the grotesque. She is working on a trilogy about motherhood and inheritance. In ERF, she explores her colonial and genetic legacies.
