Parvin Saljoughi (IR)
Feral Reverie

During her residency, she will rehearse with her dancer to brush up movements and therefore improve the physical language of the work. The emphasis is on performing and testing the important technical aspects of the performance. Working together with the costume designer and light designer, she will be enhancing the relationship between light and movement, test costume ideas in a simulated environment, and try lighting compositions. Translation of concepts into their practical and performative uses is the main goal.
Parvin Saljoughi (IR)
Parvin Saljoughi has a background in visual art and choreography and is currently exploring Art and Design. Her work moves between disciplines, with the body at its core – its weight, memory and political charge.
Who is free to move and who is not? As a creator, performer and dancer, Parvin explores the body as a site of pressure, memory and transformation. Through performance, text and video, she tests the limits of what a body can carry, refuse and reveal. Her work revolves around the concept of limits, because on the edge, control, visibility and adaptability are all the more important.
