Holly’s Region – originally the name of one of her projects – has become the name of the projects in collaboration with Sven Roofthooft and by extension of her visual world. Holly serves as alter ego and mediator between the fiction of the work and the audience. After, among others, the short film Holly does education and the location projects Holly becomes CEO in a factory and Holly rehabilitates at the UZGent, she continues to develop audience formats.

In this residency at BUDA, she will prepare Holly makes a museum, for the festival Playground (STUK, Leuven) to be shown at Museum M in November ’24.

An Verstraete (BE)

Since 2006, Verstraete has been active as a creator and author ‘on the border of visual work and theatre’.

For one of her performances (2013, thePALEIS), she developed a unique process that she uses to this day: she assembles magazine clippings and printed text on a Styrofoam board. With these small scenes, Verstraete analogously arranges found footage into a new whole. She also works with, among others, viernulvier, De Grote Post, Caravan Production, Sven Roofthooft, Benjamin Verdonck and Stefanie Claes.
