Lili Vanderstraeten (BE) & Kito Kotsoane (ZA)
Lili Vanderstraeten is a multidisciplinary performer that explores the multiplicity of textile, everyday materials, and care-related actions to create tactile installations that become habitats for stillness and sensory-rich gestures. Her practice often unfolds outside traditional venues in collaboration with care organizations, artists, patients, and local communities. Currently, she is researching how textiles can transform into light, dynamic moving shelters—like a second skin—that invite authenticity, silence, and embodied presence.
Kito Kotsoane is a multidisciplinary artist and fashion designer specializing in textile art and experimental design. He has collaborated on theater performances and fashion productions, including internships with Jan Welvaert and Tom Van der Borght, where he explored non-traditional fabrics and innovative techniques. Through his work, he seeks to merge fashion and textile art as a medium for creativity and personal expression.
