Elena Carvajal (ES)
I was told not to make eye contact with Tom Cruise
During her residency in BUDA, Elena will continue with the research and creation of her new project. This work is based on an autofictional story that explores the figure of extras. A perspective toward that, which almost always lies at the margins. It poetically reveals the sorrow hidden behind what we do not see. To be an extra is, above all, to be a witness. But can one be a witness to something without that something existing?
