La Noche de Aparición
La Noche de Aparición, which loosely translates as “The Night of the Ghost” is a storytelling, clowning and dance performance for three performers. The performance itself will explore horror aesthetics and Mexican ghost folklore, and it will be composed of three different chapters inspired by existing folklore tales: La Procesión de los Muertos, Los Narcosatánicos and La Llorona.
They take inspiration from popular ghost stories that use metaphors, fantastic creatures and paranormal events to talk about dark topics of society with a good balance between lightness and drama. This piece will talk about solitude, spirits, missing people and home-sickness, and gatherings as a way of healing.
