“Our residency in BUDA arrives after almost two years of research and rehersals and only two months before the premiere. It will be an important moment, in which every members of the team will be there, working together. It will be a technical residency as well as a time for composition of dance and music.”

Betty Tchomanga (FR)

Betty Tchomanga is a performer and a choreographer. She was born in 1989 in France from a Cameroonian father and a French mother. She has a Master’s degree in Modern Literature and attented CNDC in Angers. As a performer, she worked with choreographers with various aesthetics but her collaboration with Marlene Monteiro Freitas was certainly the most striking. Nowadays, she is working on her own pieces. She created a solo called “Mascarades” in 2020 and she is currently working on a new play for 2022 called “Lessons of Darkness”.
