After a residency at BAMP focusing on the body in motion and a residency at MAISON POÈME focusing on an excerpt from the text, during our research residency we will bring these initial ideas together at BUDA and work on short sequences that will include a prototype contribution from the scenographer, experiments in new magic, and sound work.

Alexandra Sebbag (BE)

A visual artist and costume designer based in Brussels, Alexandra Sebbag has developed a personal performative, sculptural, and sound-based practice that uses somato/anthropomorphic language to express fictional life. Her work raises political questions about the relationships and conditions of bodies in terms of their vulnerabilities, transformations, and strengths in a societal context that is out of step with its minorities.
In recent years, she collaborated on costume, accessory, and set design with choreographers, directors and filmmakers.
