Nu komt Lisa werken aan haar nieuwe performance, die tijdens Almost Summer festival in première gaat. De performance, die zich ontwikkelt rond hardcore en pornografie, camouflage, snelheid, breken en blut zijn, onderzoekt zowel de begrippen ‘hard’ als ‘core’ in hardcore techno en verwijst daarbij zowel naar hun tekst(uur) als naar hun mogelijkheden. De performer danst, spreekt, rust, voelt, neemt in, danst, danst, danst en blijft ‘in hardcore’.

Lisa Vereertbrugghen

Lisa Vereertbrugghen is a Brussels-based choreographer, teacher, dramaturg and researcher. Since 2014, she has been researching hardcore techno dance styles in various formats: performances, lecture-performances, performance installations and publications. She previously worked at arts centre BUDA on The performance formerly known as performance, The Extraordinary Way She Moves and Softcore, a hardcore encounter. While we are here is her first group choreo.
