Manon Kanjinga Janssen (BE/CD)
(no title)
Manon Kanjinga Janssen is spending two weeks in residence to complete the ‘final’ phase of her research. Together with Constant Bitihuse, Wanda Ndala Muteb and Constantin Tombroff, they will apply the movement material – which encompasses polyrhythm and polycentrism – and the various rhythms, some drawn from the classes she attended at the Royal Conservatoire of Brussels, others developed jointly or proposed by the three dancers, to the body.
Manon Kanjinga Janssen (BE/CD)
Manon Kanjinga Janssen is a dancer and performer from Brussels. She has worked with, amongst others, Briana Ashley Stuart, Mooni Van Tichel, Dan Mussett, Benjamin Kahn and Mohamed Malik. Her artistic practice is rooted in a polymorphous understanding. It is the result of the intersection of all the bodies and associated meanings that have shaped and informed her.
