RANT takes as its starting point the experience of the internet as an indigestible abundance – aggressive, chaotic and frenzied. Jäger & Ooms explore how this excess affects our human condition and what impact it has on our experience. Inspired by the angry internet, they transform the rant into music and dance, into a frenzied ritual.

During the residency, they will develop text and choreographic material. They will map out the dramaturgical framework for the performance.

Anna Franziska Jäger and Nathan Ooms met whilst studying at KASK and have been collaborating closely ever since. Together, they have created productions such as Bartlebabe, The Honey House, Ambient Theatre Fury and Modesta (play of language and lips). In their work, they combine their fascination with text, choreography and imagery.
