Her upcoming trio Sérénade explores the movements of the heart as the motor of motion. Drawing on fascia therapy and vocal techniques inspired by punk, the piece investigates love and desires as a physical experience and its expression as an act of liberation.

During that residency, Jeanne Colin – alongside Maria Ferreira Silva and Angela Rabaglio – will investigate how movement, breathing, and vocal expression can be anchored in the felt motion of the heart.

Jeanne Colin (FR)

Jeanne Colin is a French dancer and choreographer based in Brussels. Trained at P.A.R.T.S., she collaborates as a dancer with choreographers while leading her own projects. Her work intertwines dance, visual arts, hypnosis, and fascia therapy within a non-hierarchical, feminist perspective. In 2019, she created RECEPTION, an in situ duet where bodies and matter unfold in a sensory dialogue. In her 2024 solo ABYSSES, she draws on collective fears and the unconscious gestures of dreaming in REM sleep. That paradoxical state where rest and nightmare coexist.
