In BUDA, Natalie Steelandt will be working on the creation of STUK: a theatrical and personal reflection on 24 years of motherhood. She is testing a new method based on the outsider witness interview technique. The residency focuses on scenography, research, experimentation and rehearsal.

Natalie Steelandt is a theatre maker, actress and researcher. From her master’s degree at the Maastricht Drama Academy, she researches how theatre can heal, connect and confront. With Collective Own NAT, she develops a theatrical translation of a therapeutic method together with Maya van Zelst (gestalt therapist) and Eleni Koekoerikoe (scenographer). They aim for vulnerable, living and instantaneous theatre.
