Audrey Apers is working on developing the performance Under Your Spell which features 3 witch-like characters trying to make their way through a forest. It is a mad trip where forest, animal and their own guts merge in a feverish battle.

During this residency, Audrey takes the time to dive deeper into the textual material of the play.

Audrey Apers (BE)

Audrey Apers (1991, BE) is a director and performer living and working in Brussels. She received her Bachelor of Modern Theater Dance from the AHK and danced from 2013 to 2019 with various choreographers. In 2023, she graduated as a creator with a Masters in Theater Directing from RITCS with her performance Vulcanize Me, shown at TAZ24 and Fringe Amsterdam. She is currently developing new work Under Your Spell that will première in Monty in Februari 2026.  Her work pursues female liberation, and she does so with burlesque incredulity. Everything is bathed in an aesthetic of raw directness and complexless je m’en foutism. The cosmic always traverses the banality of the everyday.
