Where Shall I Start, As If You Didn’t Know (working title)
Where Shall I Start, As If You Didn’t Know is a choreographic project exploring memory, interiority and plural identities. The project explores the inner life as a space shaped by memory, bodily experience, imagination and social expectations. It examines how images, movement codes and forms of self-presentation are encountered, transformed and reassembled within Black and African diasporic experiences.
Mamadou Wagué will conduct an initial period of choreographic research to establish the foundations of the project. The residency will focus on movement research and the generation of physical states in relation with the themes underlying the project.
