Zola… Pas comme Émile !!! is a show currently being created by Forbon N’Zakimuena. Forbon is interested in territorial rights issues. More specifically, the naturalisation and francization of the first names of children born in France to foreign parents. Forbon will bring together several sources of stories: that from his individual naturalisation interview at the age of 13. The one that comes from talking to teenagers who went through the same experience, between the ages of 13 and 18. A one-man show where links are woven between rap, initiation and life stories in search of meaning and affirmation of their name in the face of concepts of identity and integration.

Forbon will be taking advantage of his visit to Buda to continue his dramaturgical research on his own before rejoining his team in residence across France.

Forbon N’Zakimuena (FR)

Forbon N’Zakimuena is a French artist at the crossroads between rap and storytelling. He is working with the Maison du Conte (Chevilly-Larue, France) as a delegated producer on his first two works: S.I.M.P.L.E? (Creation 2020) and Tu mues, tu meurs(?)! (Creation 2022). In September 2022, he set up his own company, MANTRAP. His company is supported by L’Iliaque as a delegated producer.
