Arantxa: Emisiones Cacatúa is een pseudo-radio, een experiment, een fake maar goede reden om uiteenlopende contexten met elkaar te verbinden voor de duur van een radio-uitzending.

Nilo: onze radio is in hoofdzaak een ruimte voor relaties. We zijn tegelijk zender en ontvanger voor onze gasten, maar ook voor het het publiek en de luisteraars van het radioprogramma.
We proberen een audioruimte te creëren rond de ontmoetingen die we organiseren. Het gaat ons niet om het best mogelijke discsours, maar om de poging om stukjes realiteit te vertalen in gesproken woorden.

Arantxa: we proberen eerder om netwerken te creëren dan om besluiten te formuleren. Daarom is er op zaterdag 28.02 ook een ‘open mic’-uitzending van Emisiones Cacatúa. Iedereen die audiomateriaal wil uitgezonden zien, is welkom. We luisteren graag naar jullie!

Arantxa: Emisiones Cacatúa is a pseudo-radio, an experiment, a false good reason to mix up contexts that are not always linked to each other but that we are connecting through this project.

Nilo: our radio is mostly a relational space. With our guest, but also with the live audience and the people who are listening to our program, we are both emitting and receiving. We are trying to create an oral and audio space around the encounters that we are doing. We are never trying to record a well-articulated discourse, but rather to valorize the exercise itself of translating some reality into spoken words.

Arantxa: we are rather trying to create networks than finding conclusions. In that sense, Emisiones Cacatúa, is also proposing an “open mic” on Saturday the 28/02 to everyone who wants to publish audio material. We love to listen to you!
