Tatiana Julien is a choreographer and performer with an outspoken interest in social involvement and the role of art in the public debate. With her company Interscribo she doesn’t only work inside the theatre but she also takes her creations out into the public space. Her work flirts with performance, installation and ritual and invites empathy, confrontation and meeting. Julien works with prominent choreographers such as Thomas Lebrun and Boris Charmatz and creates performances for unique places such as the Louvre, the Grand Palais and museums in London, Rotterdam and Vienna. In her work the body is at the center as a bearer of urgency and imagination, as a power that breaks through social inertia.
